THE HIstory of the BASTIDE NEUVE

A picturesque old sheepfold transformed into an exceptional Provencal bastide…

Origin: The bastide was initially a sheepfold where residents lived with their animals, such as goats, cows, and horses. The current living and dining room area served as a shelter for these animals.

Renovation: In the 1980s, a Belgian family renovated the sheepfold, transforming the space and naming it « Bastide Neuve. »

Current Owners: Since 2009, Frédéric and Stéphane, two cousins, have owned this Bastide, which has become a family home.

Ecological Commitment: Classified as a bird sanctuary (LPO) last year, the bastide is surrounded by nature and a beautiful private forest that is home to many animals. Respecting their tranquility is essential. Please help preserve it.

Environment: The estate has many centuries-old oaks, with the oldest located in front of the living room. La Bastide uses eco-friendly cleaning products and encourages respect for the environment to preserve this haven of peace.
